Governance and Leadership Structure

ManCave SA is governed by an independent Board of Directors responsible for fiduciary oversight, strategic planning, and mission stewardship. Our structure follows nonprofit best practices with clear separation of responsibilities to ensure transparency and accountability.

 

Current leadership includes

  • Carlos Smith — President

  • Quincy Workman — Vice President I

  • William Bunch — Vice President II

  • Wendell Stowers — Secretary

  • Tavares Reeder — Treasurer

  • Carlton Barlow — Financial Secretary

  • Darius Dempsey — Director of Development

 

Role Responsibilities

  • The President serves as Board Chair and chief volunteer leader, guiding strategy, partnerships, and organizational direction.

  • The Vice Presidents support governance, program execution, and operational continuity.

  • The Secretary maintains corporate records, compliance documentation, and governance integrity.

  • The Treasurer provides financial oversight responsibilities to maintain transparency and internal financial controls.

  • The Director of Volunteer Services leads the development, coordination, and management of all volunteer-related functions

  • The Director of Development leads fundraising strategy, partnerships, and sustainability planning.

 

 Accountability and Stewardship

As a public charity, ManCave SA is committed to ethical governance, responsible financial management, and measurable community impact. No single individual controls both financial and programmatic decisions. Our systems are designed to protect the trust placed in us by members, supporters, and the community.

Transparency is not optional — it is foundational.

Impact: Adopt-A-Son seeks to create a new generation of young Black men who are confident in their purpose, committed to their dreams, and prepared to lead. By uplifting one another and their communities through education, service, and personal growth, these young men will influence future generations and contribute to lasting societal change
